Introduction

The advocacy and communication training was conducted by Meena Seeshu, Aarthi Pai from SANGRAM and Shanti Tiwari from SWASA on 26-27 May, 2022 with 20 leaders from CBOs The objective of the training was to make participants clear about the two terms/words, they were “Advocacy” and “Communication”. 

Panel for the Asia Pacific Social Forum 

All CBOs of SWASA Nepal, JMMS and SWAN participated on the Asia Pacific Social Forum panel on 16th January, 2022 entitled Criminalization in Nepal, Cambodia, Thailand, Sri-Lanka and India. Ms. Bhawona Tamang from Hamro Sangathan, represent Nepal and presented regarding the present status of sex work in Nepal; sex work criminalization in Nepal; impact of Covid-19 on sex work in Nepal and demands of sex workers in Nepal.
